Obituary for Kenneth Falconer

Kenneth “Ken” Alvin Falconer, 75 years, Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury.

Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Huneault) Falconer. Loving father of Matthew Falconer (Tracy). Cherished grandfather of Bailey (Jessie) and Sheri (Randy) and great-grandchildren Ivory, Taven, Xavier, and Arizona.

Dear son of William and Dorothy (nee Breheault) Falconer both predeceased. Dear brother of Raymond predeceased (Joyce), Jacqueline (Douglas Price), James “Jim” (Anna), Reginald (Joyce), William “Billy” (Carol), Wayne, Lloyd (Diane), Donna (Jim Caul), and predeceased by Ethel Mullen (Alton of New Brunswick) and Wilmot (Eileen of Prince Edward Island). Special brother in law to Mitch & Sylvia Larochelle. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Ken was born in Douglas Field, New Brunswick, moving to the Sudbury area in 1970. He was a skilled mechanic who was well known and respected in the Sudbury area. He will be remembered for his inspired work ethic and willingness to help all he met. He enjoyed traveling and jigsaw puzzles. He was devoted to his family, especially his precious grandchildren. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call after 11am Saturday). Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Saturday, July 27th, 2019 at 1pm. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. For donations and messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org. For those unable to attend the service, it can be viewed online at www.livememorialservices.com.
