Obituary for Louise Parent

The unexpected passing of Louise Parent of Upper Golden Grove, cherished wife of Jean–Guy Parent, occurred peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at her home. Born on May 23, 1970 in Bathurst, she was the daughter of Frederick and Marjorie (Couture) Lavigne of Bathurst.

Louise dedicated her life to caring for the needs of her family and always treasured the times spent with those she loved. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise will be lovingly remembered by her precious daughters, Dominique Parent and Meka Parent, both at home; as well as her brother, Michel Lavigne (Maurine Darmavel) of the United States.

In keeping with Louise’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424).

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
