Obituary for Robert "Bob" Watson

It is with great sadness we tell you that Bob Watson died at home on July 27, 2019. Bob spent his entire working life helping people. As a building maintenance technician, he was never too busy to repair drywall, replace faucets and adjust heaters, no matter what time of day or night. He really could fix anything.

Later, as a committed service technician at Tango Medical, he made sure the stairlift ran smoothly, the wheelchair was the right fit and the client could confidently use the equipment. He had an easy, reassuring way and his customers adored him. Bob was a down–to–earth, super– decent guy. He worked quietly in the background, without expecting recognition for his efforts. He had a desert–dry sense of humour, loved a good joke and spending time with close friends.

He leaves his broken–hearted mum and dad, Dib and Bill, brother Ian (and his wife Kelly and daughter Sarah), sisters Nancy and Judy (and partner Del Paterson), as well as Olivera, her family and Bob's close friends.

As we hope Bob would have wished, friends and family are invited to an informal, relaxed reception at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York St. in Fredericton on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.mcadamsfh.com.
