Obituary for John Keith "Jack" Vann

On Sunday, July 28th, 2019, John Keith Vann (“Jack”), husband of Evelyn (Wade) Vann, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers hospital. Born in Bethany, MB, he is the son of the late William and Melles (Dow) Vann.

Surviving along with his wife Evelyn are their children: Gordon Vann (Muriel) of Burton, Sandra Hall (Doug) of Gagetown, Marilyn Deslauriers (Anthony) of Halifax and Brenda Tufford (Terry) of Oromocto; grandchildren: Judy, Sandra, Beverly, Kyle, Douglas, John, Darby, Brittany and Dylan; great grandchildren: Paige, Mallory, Waylon, Oakley, Douglas, John, Gavin, Susie, Jack, Matthew, Liz and one more little one on the way, as well as, his brothers–in–law Frank and Tom Wade and several extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by most of his immediate family.

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, a funeral will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 2nd, at 11:00 am with Canon Walter Williams officiating. Guests are invited to visit briefly with the family during the hour prior to the funeral. Private family committal in the Burton Cemetery. All are welcome to attend a reception, while awaiting the family’s return.

For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and condolences may be placed at www.oromoctofh.com.
