Obituary for Maria Doucette

1927 –2019
Grande–Digue, NB, Heavy hearts announce the passing of Maria Doucette, at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont university hospital centre in Moncton, on Monday, July 29, 2019, she was residing with her daughter Anna. Maria was the daughter of the late Alban Cormier and the late Adele Cormier (born Boucher) of Moncton.

Her loving spirit remains with her beloved children, Roger (Diane), John (Kathy), Ronald (Jo–Anne), Anna (France), Jacqueline (Richard) and Donald (Collette); fourteen grandchildren; several great–grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her loving friend Marc Michaud and her precious cat CC.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Doucette; baby angel daughter, Roberta Ida; a daughter–in–law, Josette Doucette; also she was the only surviving member of her five siblings: Albert, Irene, Alice, Aurele and Laurie.

She loved skating, bowling and playing the spoons to her favorite country music. She adored her family and loved laughter. An angel among us, never speaking a negative word about anyone, she leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity, honesty, faith and love to be carried on throughout the generations. She was a true blessing from God and will be dearly missed by so many every moment of every day.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, August 2, 2019, from 10am to 12pm followed by the Funeral service at 12pm.

Donation can be made to the Alzheimer society (Dementia), Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice.

RIP sweet Angel of God.
