It is with great sadness the family of Neil "Ervin" MacPhee, loving husband of 66 years to Joan (Marr) MacPhee, announce his passing at Kingsway Care Centre on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Born on January 8, 1929 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Michael and Rosina (Rockwood) MacPhee.

Ervin worked for CPR in Sudbury, then transferred back to NB and finished his career working with the Province of New Brunswick - Department of Finance. In earlier life, he enjoyed sports, especially fastball and bowling. He was an avid card player and enjoyed regular games with family and friends. He was a life-time fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. He and his wife Joan are long time members of St. Paul's Anglican Church in Rothesay.

In addition to his wife, Ervin is survived by his sons, Allan MacPhee (Kelly MacDougall-MacPhee) and Neil MacPhee (Geri); grandchildren, Luke (Victoria) Rousselle and Logan Rousselle; and great-grandchildren, Asia-Leigh, Keaton and Kaliyah, he was also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Mike, Roy, Doug and David; and sisters, Olive, Marguarite, and Betty.

Many thanks for the excellent care Ervin received from the staff and volunteers of Kings Way Care Centre.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). In keeping with Ervin's wishes there will be no visitation.
