Obituary for June Covey

June Y. Covey of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Davidson Lake, NB, wife of Gerald A. Covey, passed away August 1, 2019 at her home. June was born at Glassville, Carleton County, NB in 1931, a daughter of the late James Alexander and Alma Kathleen (Miller) Hovey.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Heather Covey, Saint John, NB, Stephen Covey (Pascale), Montreal, QC and Gregory Covey, Harvey Station, NB; her grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Alexandra, Justine, Rene, Elyssa, Fiona and Kieran; her sisters, Carolyn Rowe (Ronald), Harvey Station, NB, Kathleen Wade and Marilyn Hicks (William), both of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson Eric, a sister, Jean Flemming (late Basil) and a brother-in-law, Leonard Wade.

Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at a later date to be announced.


For those who wish to make a donation in memory of June, the family has suggested the Barony Cemetery or the Alzheimer Society.
