Obituary for Barbara Louise Dunphy

The death of Barbara Louise Dunphy of Fredericton occurred on August 1st, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Mildred and Samuel Anderson and the wife of the late Malcolm Andrew Dunphy.

Barb is survived by a brother, Joseph Anderson of Hampton and several nieces and nephews who she enjoyed spending time with. Special mention of Scott and Darren Hill who were her guardians and relatives.

Barb graduated from UNB with degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Education. She was employed with NBCC and spent many years teaching and enjoying her work. She also enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and travelling to the south. She had many special friends who she enjoyed.

A private gathering of family will be held, followed by an interment at the Kirk Hill Cemetery in Sussex, NB, where she will rest beside Mac, her husband.
