On August 3, 2019, our sweet mother Myrtle May Stewart passed away at age 96 at Monarch Hall, Riverview, NB. Mom was born in West Saint John, NB 6th child of 10 siblings to parents late Malcolm Albert and Annie (Stephen) Campbell. She was a dear wife, friend, confidant, laughing companion and comrade in arms to late husband Robert Henry, for 63 years.

Myrtle was predeceased by an infant daughter Christine (1948), and by much loved siblings and their (spouses); sisters Dorothy (Jack) and Elizabeth (Willard), brothers Hebert, Douglas, Andrew (Marie), Kenneth, Raymond and Malcolm (Thyra Marie).

Survived by daughters Donna Stewart, Candace (Joe) MacLoughlin and Kimberly (Maurice) Cormier, beloved grandsons Robert and Jared Cormier; step granddaughters Tamara and Kim MacLoughlin and sister Melita (late Bill) Britt of Canyon Lake California with whom she had a lifelong loving bond. Also survived by special sister–in–law Marge Campbell (late Kenneth) and Geraldine Campbell (late Raymond) and her many cherished nieces and nephews.

Mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Mom had a wonderful sense of humour, pride in family, a very strong resilient nature which was never more apparent than after a stroke in 2011. We are so very proud of her sustained courage in the face of the many obstacles from her illness.

Special thank you to the staff of Monarch Hall, for providing a loving, caring community setting. We will never forget their kindness and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. There will be no visitation and interment will be held at Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852–3530. A book of condolences may be signed at www.fairhavenmemorial.ca.

A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain. It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice, it is endless, unselfish and enduring!
