Obituary for Douglas James Earle

Douglas James Earle passed away at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 75 after a 18–year battle against prostate cancer. Son of the late Eldon M. Earle and M. Gladys Earle (nee Shortis). Beloved husband of the late Shirley Earle (nee Owen) and father to Doug, Owen (Kim) and Eldon. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Bronwen and Gareth.

Survived by his sister Alice Rowland (Gordon) and sisters–in–law Beatrice Arbo (Harvey) and Betty Kynock.

Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Doug made Port Elgin, Ontario home for 50 years.

Interment will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at 10:30 am.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
