Obituary for Ann (Anny) Marie Patricia "Cissy" McLellan

The death of Ann McLellan of Saint John occurred on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with loved ones by her side. Born on August 2, 1955 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Gerald McKinnon and Phyllis (McLean) Fennell.

Over the years, Anny worked several different jobs throughout the city. She was known for her kind ways and always enjoyed lending a helping hand to her neighbours and anyone in need. Anny was skilled at writing and her short stories and poetry will be cherished by her family and friends.

Cissy is survived by her siblings, Tom McKinnon (Susan) of Saint John, Rick McKinnon of Blackfalds, Alberta and Crystal McKinnon of Saint John; lifelong friend, Cindy Wainwright of Saint John; two aunts and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gerald “Jerry” McKinnon.

Although there will be no funeral service, relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424) on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice. www.BrenansFH.com
