Obituary for John William Vellenoweth

John passed away peacefully on August, 12, 2019 surrounded by his family. Born on February 5, 1951 in Regina, SK, he was the son of the late William and Thordis (Torfason) Vellenoweth.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy (DeGrasse). John will be remembered as a dependable, loving man. He is also survived by his daughters Dawn and Tera; his granddaughter, Emalynn; brother, Richard; several aunts, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, uncles, and a cousin.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anthony’s Church, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11 am with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Family have requested a scent free environment.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
