Obituary for Géraldine Richard

1928-2019
Géraldine Richard, 91, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the Dr George-L-Dumont UHC, on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. She was married to the late Henri Richard (2012). Born in Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Désiré and the late Marguerite (Maillet) Léger.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Louise Richard (late Larry) of Vermont, her grandchildren, Chuck and Martin and her great-grandchildren; Kayla, Ryan, Mischa and Brielle. She also leaves to mourn her sisters; Léona LeBlanc (late Eric) of Saint-Antoine, Geneva Boucher (late Joseph) of Dieppe, Dora Cormier (Normand) of Moncton, daughter-in-law Roberte Dugas and several nieces and nephews.

Géraldine was predeceased by a son, Philippe Dugas, three sisters; Edna, Edith and Irene in infancy, and five brothers; Paul, Emerie, Yvon, Eric and baby Eric in infancy.

Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, in Cocagne on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 2 to 3:45 pm followed by the Funeral Mass at 4:00pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

In Geraldine’s memory a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation.
