Obituary for Elizabeth Brydges

Elizabeth “Bessie” Brydges, 88, formerly of Point-du-Chêne passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Sunday, August 18th, 2019. Born in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of Cecile and Mathilda (Petitpas) Wallace.
Bessie is survived by her daughter, Darlene Brydges (Edna) of Caissie Cape; her son, Russell Wallace (Shirley) of Shediac; a sister: Edna Thibodeau of Riverview; three grandchildren: Chrystal, Tony and Cindy, several great grandchildren as well by many nieces and nephews.
Bessie was predeceased by her spouse Robert Luther Brydges; a daughter, Marlene Melanson; her sisters: Kathleen Walton, Dora Fougère, Diana Roberts and Geraldine Loggie; two brothers: Patrick and Cecile Jr.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday, August 22nd from 9:30 am till time of chapel services at 11 am.
In memory of Bessie, a contribution to the Vestiaire St-Joseph or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
A special Thank You to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC, Dr Rhéal Boudreau for his kindness and care over many years, and the “Angels” at Ti Bons Soins.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
