Obituary for Thelma Grace Steeves

1922 – 2019
Thelma went to her eternal home on Monday, August 19, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Levis and Jennie (nee Hope) Lutes of Steeves Mountain, NB.

Thelma was a member of West Lane Baptist Church. Missions, whether home or abroad, were very important to her. She enjoyed knitting, baking and socializing with family and friends.

Survived by a brother, Lea Lutes of Scarborough, ON and one sister, Pauline Lutes of Moncton. She is also survived by special nephew, Grant Lowther and by several other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother, Omer and sisters, Stella Tingley, Jean Lockhart, Doris Jones, Shirley Lewis and Louise Lowther.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Scott Ryder officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Steeves Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only.
