Obituary for Yvon Melanson

1936-2019
Yvon Melanson, 83, of Shediac, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on February 15, 1936 in Malakoff, he was the son of the late Alyre and Uzeline (Dupuis) Melanson.

He is survived by three sisters: Juliette Bourgeois (late Vital) of Shediac, Doris Noël (late Léandre) and Aline Cormier (Laurie), both of Scoudouc; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four sisters: Bertha, Stella, Anita, and infant Yvette; as well as one brother, Stanislas.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday, August 23 from 7 to 9 pm only. By request, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be in Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur cemetery, Scoudouc.
