Obituary for Phyllis Lovelock–Neves

Phyllis Lovelock–Neves, 92, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Shediac Road, Moncton, passed away peacefully, within the comforts of her home, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Born in Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Fitzsimmons) Lovelock.

Phyllis retired in 1984 as Supervisor with Clover Produce. She attended Harrisville United Church and was a former Sunday School teacher. Her hobbies included walking, knitting, reading and gardening.

Phyllis will be sadly missed by her daughter, Donna Naugler (Terry) of Rhodes Corner, NS and sons, Eric Neves (Grace) and Peter Lovelock (Nancy), both of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Chris, Scott, Roxanne, Tanie, Shonda and Lisa; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Robin, Karmen, Mayla, Ava, Angus, Emma, Emily, Samantha and Thane; sisters, Joy Jones (Leonard) of Moncton and Lois Deeter of Texas; brother, Dean Lovelock (Lorraine) of Moncton, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eric Neves (2002); son, Shane (1948); sisters, Marjorie and Lillian and brothers, Roger, Eddie and Peter.

To honor Phyllis, a private family service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Lakeville, Westmorland Co.

Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) in care of arrangements.

In memory of Phyllis, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
