Obituary for Evelyn Boudreau

1943 – 2019
It is with great sadness that we, the family wish to announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Evelyn Boudreau, beloved wife of Yvon Boudreau of Beresford, which occurred surrounded by the love of her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the age of 76. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Georges Brideau and the late Rosalie Boudreau.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Colette Boudreau (Denise Boudreau) of Beresford and Louise Boudreau (Johnny Boudreau) of Robertville. Her grandchildren: Jenny Lynn, Suzie and Karine. Her great grandchildren: Maxime and Justin. She also leaves to mourn, her brothers: Andrew (Phyllis) Brideau of Beresford, Roy (Sherry) Brideau, Edward (Mona) Brideau both of Nova Scotia. Her sisters: Edna (Ron) Johnson, Blanche (Pat) Bowen, Tina (Bob) Bell, all of Ontario, Jackie (Danny) Frenette, Theresa (Gérard) Roy and Mary Ann (late Patrick) Frenette, all of Robertville. Many nieces and nephews.

She is now resting in peace with her brothers: Nelson and Gérard.

Funeral mass was celebrated at Saint–Nom–de–Jésus Church in Beresford on Friday, August 23, 2019.

In memory of Evelyn, donations maybe made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home in Beresford. (www.mfheritage.com)
