Obituary for Helen Mae Caissie

1929 – 2019
Helen Caissie of Moncton, NB in her 90th year passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 22, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (nee Smith) Massey.

Before retirement Helen worked for Co–op Atlantic Insurance, she was a parishioner of St. Augustine's R.C. Church and very active in the church prayer group.

Survived by five daughters, Brenda (Edward) Soucoup of Moncton, Janice (Greg) Keirstead of Moncton, Susan (Art) Paquette of Moncton, Gwen (Victor) Thibodeau of Lakeville, Nancy (Paul) Steeves of Hillsborough; three sons, David Forbes of Edmonton, AB, Sidney (Lori–Ann) Forbes of Moncton, Dan (Leigh) Forbes of Saint John, NB; one step son, Ronnie (Faye) Cassie of Lower Coverdale; one sister, Noreen LeBlanc of Florida, US; nineteen grandchildren; twenty–one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents Helen was predeceased by her husband Euclide Caissie; one daughter, Carol Forbes; three sons, Peter, Timothy and Robert Forbes.

Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. The Funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine's Church, Moncton, NB on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11:00 am with Fr. Angus Johnston officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.

Donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. Augustine's R.C. Church or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
