Obituary for Lillian Saunders

Lillian Mary Saunders, widow of Myles Willis Saunders and youngest daughter of the late Jacob and Annie (Patterson) Pyne of Marysville, NB passed away in the Grand Manan Nursing Home early August 13, 2019. She was born in Marysville, NB on January 22, 1921.

Survived by beloved daughter; Brenda (Moore) McLaughlin of Grand Manan and her sons; Todd, Peter (Jennifer), Toby, (Tricia), Robyn and their children; son; Randy (Leigh) and their daughters; Tara (Andy) Daggett, Tammy Moore and their children; step daughter-in-law; Shirley (George) Saunders and her children Corrine, Michael, Karen, Shelly, Brenda and their families; sisters; Dorothy (Moore, Manzer) Miller (Isaac) and Geraldine (Alan) Killin of Surry, BC.

Predeceased by her parents; infant sister, Shirley Pyne; step-son, George; nephew, David Manzer and great grandson Daniel McLaughlin.

Until her retirement Mom worked for 23 years for the NB Dept. of Finance. She was dedicated to her church and loved sports, especially ice skating, tennis, and even in later years enjoyed watching these on TV.

At her request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery, Canada St. Fredericton at 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 31, 2019.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
