Obituary for Elizabeth Brydges

1949-2019
Elizabeth Rose Brydges, 70, of Moncton, beloved wife of Gordon Brydges, passed away August 24, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 4, 1949, the daughter of the late Alfred and Eileen Doiron (Barrett).

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Gordie; her children and family: Angela (Kevin), Rob (Jeanette), five grandchildren: Justin, Caralyn, Allison, Courtney (Caleb), and Emelie (Kirill) and two great-grandchildren: Landys and Clark, her sisters and brothers: Brenda Thompson, Sandra Thompson (Clive) both of Dieppe, Patricia Murphy (Boyne) of Port Elgin, Michael Doiron (Lorraine), Beverly Melanson (Arthur), Tony Doiron (Céline), Ronnie Doiron (Angela) and Norma Brine (Danny) all of Dieppe, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty married Gordon in 1971 and his military life kept the family moving to many new places. She was a devoted mother to her children and spent her early life caring for Angela and Rob. In 1980 her newfound love for her Creator, Jehovah, motivated her to become a full-time minister. This led Betty and Gordie to help many in the Moncton and Shediac area. The highlight of their later life together was preaching in Colima, Mexico where they wintered for 10 years. We will miss her smile, her laugh and her love for all!

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 30, 2019 at 2:30 pm. Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 25 War Veterans Avenue, Moncton N.B.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Watchtower at JW.org (Donations).

Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, 4130 route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB, E4H 3K2 734-2780 www.albertcountyfh.com
