Obituary for Rhonda Dunn

1957~2019
Rhonda Lynn Dunn passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on August 25, 2019, with her husband by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Springhill and raised in Port Mouton, Nova Scotia, Rhonda was the daughter of Carol Knox (Harrison) and the late James “Scotty” Knox.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years Rob Dunn, her daughter Christa Black (Andrew), her sister Cheryl Bouges (Bill), sister-in-law Kathy Leger (Conrad), brothers-in-law Kevin Dunn (Lynn Estey) and Rick Dunn (Cindy) as well as several nieces. She is also survived by her granddaughters Ella, Charlotte and Abigail Black, who affectionately knew her as “Nan”. Rhonda lived for her granddaughters, who cherished their frequent visits from Nan. Rhonda is further survived by a large circle of friends throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

The family invites to you gather at Fair Haven Funeral Home in Moncton at 1:30pm on Thursday, August 29th, to celebrate a life well lived. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 28th from 7 to 9pm at Fair Haven. Interment will take place in Port Mouton, NS in the early fall.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the many friends and relatives who helped care and pray for her throughout her illness, as well as the extra-mural, doctors, and medical staff who took such great care of her.

As your expression of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530. The family also invites you to send online condolences to www.fairhavenmemorial.ca
