Obituary for Roger O'Brien

Roger Joseph O’Brien of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019, at his residence, at the age of 78.

Dearly loved husband of Claudette Noreen (Bastarache) O’Brien and loved father of Rick O’Brien (Brenda). Cherished grandfather of Danielle and Ashley and great grandfather of Alexis and Hayden. Predeceased by a grandson Braydon. Loved son of Edward O’Brien and the late Elsie (Richard) Fudge. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews.

Roger was born in Minto, New Brunswick on May 24th, 1941. He worked over 33 years at Ford Talbotville and was a member of the C.A.W. Roger served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Rifleman. Friend of Bill W.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Friday, August 30th from 7 to 9 p.m. A private family service will be held Friday at 9:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.

Remembrances may be made to Covenant House.
