Obituary for Donald Edward Davis

Donald Edward Davis of Waterville passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born November 9, 1928 and was the son of the late Albert and Mary Davis.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jeane Davis; son, Ronald Davis; grand daughter, Melissa McGuire; sister Jennie (Merritt) Kimball; sister–in law, Tammy Davis.

Donald is survived by his children, Wayne (Judy) Davis of Woodstock, Linda (Terry) Mercer of Fredericton, Darlene Davis of Fredericton, Betty (Tom Taylor) Giberson of Howard Brook, Joan Davis of Woodstock; special friend, Shirley Fox of Woodstock; grandchildren, Michelle Melanson, Donald Davis, Mac (Cheryl) Davis, Paul (Melody) Davis, Alyson Mercer, Jodi (Lee) Prall, Heather (Andrew) Rice, Rachel Crooks, Christopher (Taylor Chase) Giberson, Ashley (Adrian) Bromfield, Whitney (Brad) Wright; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Florence) Davis of Waterville, Lloyd Davis of Waterville, Ivan Davis of Woodstock; nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Monday, September 2 from noon until 1:45 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m with Pastor Craig Woodcock officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.
