Obituary for Donat Caissie

1964 ~ 2019
Moncton, NB – Donat Caissie, 54, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.Born in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of the late Albénie and the late Marguerite Caissie.

Donat will be sadly missed by four brothers, Edgar Caissie (Yvonne), Joseph Caissie, Ronald Caissie and Jean–Guy Caissie all of Moncton; two sisters, Joanne Hébert (late Jean) of Moncton and Pauline Caissie of Calgary; four aunts, Bertha Després and Régina Cormier both of Notre–Dame–de–Kent, Muriel Leblanc and Bertha Ayles both of Moncton; his nephew and nieces, Michael Caissie, Eileen LeBlanc, Cindy Sokulich, Viola Caissie, Billy–Jo Caissie and Shelley LeBlanc; also by several cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Géraldine and Bernadette; two brothers, Peter and Roger.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625, Mountain Road, corner West Lane in Moncton) on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 from 2pm until time of funeral service at Chapel at 4pm.

The family would like to thank from the bottom of their hearts, all the doctors and nurses at the Moncton City Hospital for all the support and good care provided to Donat and to the family during their hardest moments.
