Obituary for Lillian Smith

1928 – 2019
Lillian B. Smith of Riverview, NB passed away at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor on Friday, August 30, 2019 at the age of 91. Born in Apohaqui she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Alva (McKnight) Long.

Lillian was employed with Moncton Motor Inn until her retirement. A member of Trinity United Church and the UCW, a member of the Bridgedale Seniors, the 50 plus V.O.N. and recipient of the Reid Certificate of appreciation from the Town of Riverview.

Survived by daughters: Sandra Chown of Sussex Corner, Joanne Smith ( Jacques LeBlanc) of Riverview and Jennifer Drover (Len) also of Riverview; grandchildren: Myles B. (Shelley), Brittany Reicker (Jon), Kelly (Evan) and Andrew Beaman (Brittany), Samantha (Dan) and Jennifer (Jordan) Drover; great grandchildren: Myles P and Bridgett Chown, Lodein and Jasper Beaman, Celisse Power, Elliot Tojcic and Everett Reicker also by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Lillian was predeceased by her husband Orville B. Smith. in 1994; son–in–law Myles V. Chown in 2018; sister, Jessie Goddard (late Charlie); brother, Raymond Long (late Doris).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB (506) 857–9544 where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

Donations in Lillian's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at www.tuttlefuneralhome.ca
