Obituary for Elda Robichaud

1952 - 2019
Elda Robichaud, 67, of Dieppe, a loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Friday, August 30th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of Yvonne (née: Niles) and the late Médard Roy.

Prior to retirement, Elda worked as an administrative assistant at l’Université de Moncton. She was a member of Sainte-Thérèse parish.

Besides her mother, Yvonne Roy of Moncton; she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rhéal “Pep” Robichaud; three daughters: Lise (Paul) Gaudet, Nicole Robichaud (Kimmy Savoie) and Christine Robichaud (Jeff Perry), all of Dieppe; eight grandchildren: Mathieu, Mélissa, Ariane, Anyka, Kassia, Brielle, Mya and Jayla; four sisters: Simonne (Noël) Cormier of Dieppe, Peggy (Michel) Bourque of Moncton, Betty (Dave) Killam of Salisbury and Sandra (Bob) Wallace of Dieppe; two brothers: Maurice Roy of Dieppe and Eugene Roy of Grande-Digue, as well as several nieces and nephews.

At the family’s request, no visitation prior to the service. A Celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at 11 am. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.

Donations to the CHU-Dumont Foundation “Oncology” would be appreciated by the family.

A special thank you goes to Dr. Emilie Bazinet, Dr. Skander Ghedira and to the staff of Oncology, Extra-Mural and Palliative Care Units of the Dumont Hospital for the excellent care given to Elda. Also, a sincere thank you to all family and friends for all their support. www.chartersville.com
