Obituary for Doris Doak

The passing of Doris Pauline Doak of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late C. Everett Doak, occurred on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born on September 10, 1925 in Hayesville, NB, the daughter of the late Clarence and Susan Hunter.

Doris was a member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church.

Doris is survived by her son, C. Arden Doak of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Scot Doak (Tracy) and Amanda Crouse; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Brianne and Austin Crouse; sister, Elizabeth Spencer (Dell) of Boiestown, NB; brothers, Garth Hunter (Bernice) of Boiestown, NB, Berton Hunter of Durham Bridge, NB and Stanley Hunter (Joy) of Fredericton, NB; daughter-in-law, Flora Hunter; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was predeceased by her step mother, Susan (Boies) Hunter; son, Read Doak; sister, Helen Bruce; brothers, Percy and Blaine Hunter; daughter-in-law, Paulette Doak.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Boiestown, NB on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1 pm with Rev. Canon Kevin Stockall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
