Obituary for Wilda Sheffield

The passing of Wilda May Sheffield, wife of Glenn Sheffield, occurred on Wednesday September 4th, 2019 at home. Born on May 18th, 1932 in Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Beulah and William Bennett.
Wilda is survived by her children, Carol (Roger), Virginia (Hayward), Barbara (Jim); grandchildren, Stephanie (Todd), Nadine (Julie), Jamie and Tara; great grandchildren, Jenna, Brandon, Kayley and Lilia; a brother, Sheldon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband of 67 years and her parents, Wilda was predeceased by her sister, Marie and brothers, Laurice and Boyd.
She was known as “Gram” to everyone. Loved fondly and will be greatly missed
A special thanks to Dr. Stackhouse and the staff from Extra Mural for their caring love and support through this difficult time.
There will be no visitation by request of the family. A celebration of Wilda’s life will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2pm with Dr. Rev Perry Hanley officiating. Interment will be held at the Narrows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice or Extra Mural would be greatly appreciated or charity of your choice.  Online condolences may be left at www.oromoctofh.com
