Obituary for Louis Babineau

(1930-2019)
ALDOUANE, NB – Louis Babineau, 89, of Aldouane passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home in Rexton on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Edmond Babineau and late Sara (Bourque) Babineau.

In his earlier days, Louis enjoyed bowling, gardening and cooking.

Louis will be sadly missed by his loving wife or 64 years, Jeannette (Vautour) Babineau of Bois Jolis in St. Louis; two sisters, Rina LeBlanc (Edgar) of Villa Shediac, Dorothée Brun (late Omer) of Dieppe; his sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, David (1988); two sisters, Marguerite, Elzéa and three brothers, Melème, Réginald and Theophile.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto.

Donations in Louis’ memory may be made to the NB Alzheimer’s Society or to the Rexton Lions Nursing Home would be appreciated.

Special thanks to the staff at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home for their exceptional care and compassion give to Louis during his stay.
