Obituary for Elizabeth Haley

Elizabeth "Liz" Sylvia Haley, 81, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with family by her side. She was a daughter of the late Noble and Lillian Steeves and widow of Keith Haley.

Liz worked for Sobeys as a Demo Lady for many years. She was lovingly referred to as "Grammie" by her family and her many honourary family members whom she enjoyed spending time with. There were always many laughs and lively commentaries when playing board games with Grammie, most especially "Sorry" and "Skip Bo". Her favourite thing to do was put her feet up and watch a show with her canine companion, Pancho.

Liz is survived and sadly missed by her children, Larry (Joanne) Haley, Denise Haley, Pamela (Don) Baggett, Lisa Lowe (Dave Hewey); 11 grandchildren and many great–grandchildren.

There will be a Graveside Service on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11 am in the Nixon Cemetery, Nixon, NB followed by a Memorial Gathering from 6 to 10 pm at Kent Theatre, 24 Coburg St, Saint John, NB.

If desired, memorials to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, Salisbury West (506–372–4800). www.keirsteads.ca
