Obituary for Gerald “Gerry” Stewart

The passing of Gerald “Gerry” Stanley Stewart of Fredericton, NB, husband of Tanya (Rowan) Stewart occurred on Friday, September 5, 2019 at The Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born on March 19, 1962 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Darrel and the late Loretta (Brown) Stewart.

Gerry worked for Maple Leaf Homes as a crack filler. He loved playing guitar in bands, he especially loved playing for Charities. He was a video gamer; he liked music, movies and cooking and was quite the handyman.

In addition to his wife, Tanya, Gerald is survived by his father, Darrel Stewart; son, Matthew Stewart of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Samantha Stewart (Ryanjohn Staples) of Fredericton, NB; brother, James Stewart of Fredericton; several aunts and uncles; nephews, Chase and Robert.

He was predeceased by his mother, Loretta (Brown) Stewart and sister, Cheryl Stewart.

A Graveside Service will take place at The Zionville Community Cemetery, Zionville, NB on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
