Obituary for Margaret Robichaud

Margaret Rose (Cormier) Robichaud in her 81st year, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 6th 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Margaret was married to her true love, Eloi Robichaud for 63 great years. She was born June 30, 1938 in Saint John, NB to the late Alban and Gertrude (Thibodeau) Cormier.

Margaret will be missed dearly by her husband Eloi of Saint John, children; Daniel Robichaud (Joey) of Woodstock, Anthony (Cheryl) Robichaud of Saint John and Darlene Robichaud (Robert) of Blacks Harbour, brother George (Margaret) Thibodeau of Saint John, NB, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and twenty–one nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by his sisters; Elizabeth (Al) Poirier, Pauline (Alonzo) Hachey, Jenny (Pat) Roche, Leona (Jack) Gallant and Yvonne (Charles) Theriault, brothers; Simon Thibodeau, Henry Thibodeau, Leo (Josie) Thibodeau and Arthur Thibodeau.

Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 8th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Monday, September 9th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69 Tribute Service will take place Monday, September 9th at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption on Tuesday, September 10th at 12:00Noon. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, with a reception at the Assumption Centre afterwards.

Donations in Margaret’s memory can be made to Our Lady of Assumption Building Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www. Castlefh.com
