Obituary for Ida May Moorcraft

The passing of Ida May Moorcraft of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Darrel Moorcraft, occurred on Friday, September 6, 2019 at York Care Center. She was born on September 2, 1929 in Harmony, PEI, Ida was the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (MacDonald) Yeo. Ida was a homemaker, she enjoyed fishing, canoeing and travelling. She also enjoyed knitting, embroidery and crocheting.

Ida is survived by her daughter, Reta Pannozzo (Aldo); grandchildren, Christopher, Trevor, Tyler, Tony, Patrick, Tina, Adam and Rose; great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Luke, Chloe, Nathan, Eric, Tristan and Joseph; sister, Pearl Seaboyer; brother, Robert Yeo (Noreen); special sister, Dorothy Delaney; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ida was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Drew; son, Darrell “Bubs” Moorcraft Jr.; grandsons, Michael and Peter; brothers, Ernest “Jim”, Frederick, Cecil and infant brother, Walter.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 11 am with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating. Interment will take place in the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
