Obituary for Robert "Bob" Irving

1954-2019
Bob Irving, 65, of Lower Coverdale passed away suddenly on September 8th, 2019 at his home. Bob was born on March 24th, 1954, the son of the late Guy and Hazel (Steeves) Irving.

Bob was a carpenter by trade. He was a hard worker and the quality of his work was well known throughout the area. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and hiking; a true Albert County man. He also loved to travel and explore with his family and friends. They say, "there is no greater bond than the one between a father and his sons" and Bob was very close with his boys and was extremely proud of all their accomplishments. He always looked forward to family get togethers and loved to joke and laugh. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic and his great sense of humour. "What we keep in memory is ours forever."

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Donna (Livingstone) Irving; his sons, Jamie (Tara), Jordan (Anneke Russell), and Josh; his four precious grandchildren, Cody, Chase, Leeya, and Lincoln; his sisters, Donna Gaskin (Wayne), Ruth Irving (Dave Chamberlain), Margie Steeves (Greg), Barb Irving (Davis Parker); and his brother-in-laws, Dennis Livingstone (Christine Telfer), and Darryl Livingstone (Cindi). He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews; by many cousins; and his special cousin, Conrad Hopper, who was like a brother to him.

Honouring Bob's wishes there will be no funeral service. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 from 1 to 3pm.

For those who wish, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, 4130 Route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H3K2 734-2780 www.albertcountyfh.com
