Obituary for Ruth Marie McKeil

Born in Fredericton, NB, Ruth passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice on September 6th, 2019 in Burlington, ON.

Widow of Paul McKeil and predeceased by brothers James, John and Charles Boyle and sister Dorothy Boyle.

Ruth is survived by nieces and nephews in New Brunswick. She is lovingly remembered by her many friends in Southern Ontario.

Ruth was a long–time teacher with the Halton Separate School Board and her dedication and love for her students was evident in everything that she did.

Our sincere thanks to Almaz (PSW – LHINS) and Tanya (St. Elizabeth's) for their excellent care while Ruth was in her home, and to everyone at The Carpenter Hospice during her final days.

A Graveside Interment Service will take place at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, in Section #8), on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2:30pm. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will follow the burial, at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905–632–3333, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Carpenter Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
