Obituary for Dirk Hugenholtz

Mr. Dirk Hugenholtz passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 9, 2019 at the age of 78.

He will live on in the hearts of his sons: Bastiaan of Seattle, Mike (Lori) of Saint John and Reinier (Angela) of Saint John; his brother, Hans (Olga) of New Zealand; his grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan, Mia, Alex, Sophie and Regan; the mother of his children: Jannie Hugenholtz of Sussex; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Kees and Aleida (Bolleman) Hugenholtz.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506–433–1176). A celebration of Dirk's life will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 6pm.

If you are considering making a memorial donation in memory of Dirk, the family has recommended the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the charity of your choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
