Obituary for Lillian Keith

Lillian Jane Keith, in her 102nd year passed peacefully with family at her side at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton on Monday, September 9, 2019. Born in Havelock she was a daughter of the late C. Bliss and Mary Ann (Gourley) Seely.

A homemaker she later worked and retired from the McCreadys Pickle Factory in Sussex. Anglican by faith she was a choir director and organist at the former St. Paul's Anglican Church in Havelock. Lillian was happiest hosting meals and special occasions for family and friends.

Survived and missed by her children Irene Murphy (late Avery) of Fredericton and Delbert Keith (Mary) of Minto, grandchildren Shyanne, Gregory and Troy, great grandchildren Megan, Jasmine and Courtney and great–great–grandson Van. The last surviving member of her immediate family she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Spencer, sisters Clara Keith, Laurena Brown, Alice Clark and Florence and Lena in their youth, brothers Charles, Leslie and William Keith.

Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rt 106 Salisbury (372–4800) with visiting Friday, September 13 from 12 p.m. until funeral at 2 p.m. The Ven. John Sharpe officiating. Interment at Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock.
