Obituary for Doris F. Belding

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Doris Fay Belding, which occurred on September 8, 2019 at her residence. Born in Chance Harbour August 13, 1929 she was a daughter of the late William and Ethel (Coy) Belding.

She was employed with the Government of Canada in Public Services, Public Works (Human Resources) and was a member of Chance Harbour United Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Jeanne Mawhinney of Chance Harbour, sister–in–law, Myrtle Belding of Saint John; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother, Gerald Belding, brother–in–law, Ervine Mawhinney and nephew, John.

Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawoganish Road, Saint John, NB, (634–7425) with visiting on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. An additional visitation will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2 to 4. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from Chance Harbour Church at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in Maces Bay Cemetery.

For those who wish remembrances to Seaside Baptist Church, Salvation Army or the Canadian Baptist Ministries would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be placed at www.brenansfh.com.
