Obituary for Mary Theresa Prosser

Mary Theresa Prosser, 86 of Riverview passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, September 9, 2019.

Theresa was a former employee with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. and Wandlyn Inn. She was a member of Mount Royal United Church, over 50 year member of Wesley Memorial United Church UCW, and was a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Theresa enjoyed reading, going out for lunch, sitting on her deck enjoying the sun, as well as exercise and yoga classes. Most of all, her truest love was spending time with her friends and family.

Theresa will be sadly missed by her children, Sue Leger (Terry) of Moncton, Barb Corkum (Keith) of Ottawa, ON, and David Prosser of Moncton: grandchildren, Che Corkum (Melanie), Kris Corkum (Anne Marie) and Ben Leger; great-granddaughters, Noelle and Audrey. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her loving husband of over 50 years, Aubrey M. Prosser (April 2008).

A celebration to honour Theresa’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, September 13th, 2019 at 2pm. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.

In memory of Theresa, donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or SPCA would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fegusonsfuneralhome.com
