Obituary for Bertha LeBlanc

1932 – 2019
Bertha LeBlanc, 86, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, at the Stella Maris de Kent, Hospital, Sainte–Anne–de–Kent, on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was married to Camille LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche Bay, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Laura (Poirier) Savoie.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Camille, her seven children; Rosemonde LeBlanc (Roger) of Gardner, MA, Denise Cormier, Paul–Emile Cormier (Virginia), Normand Cormier (Lise), Laurie LeBlanc of Moncton, Joe Cormier (Nancy), Roger LeBlanc (Denise) of Leominster, MA, her eight grandchildren and one great grandson. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters; Germaine Sawyer, Agnes Gallant of Gardner, MA, Anna Zelnia (Joseph) of Oakam, MA, her two brothers; Ernest of Templeton, MA, Normand (Beverly) of Bouctouche as well as several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her 1st husband; Clarence Cormier (1959), one daughter Joanne (2018) and by four brothers: Léandre, Alderice, Georges and Gerald.

There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte–Anne–de–Kent Roman Catholic Church on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
