Obituary for Gloria Steeves

1931~ 2019
Moncton, NB – Gloria Steeves, 88, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, September 13, 2019. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Catherine Gauvin (born Nowlan).

Gloria will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Karen Babineau (Gerry), Donna Lynn Steeves (Stephen) and Susan Steeves all of Moncton; her three brothers, Georges (late Maria) of West Palm Beach, FL, Léopaul of Moncton and Jean–Marie (Edna) of Gatineau, QC; her two sisters, Claudette Fitzsimons (Donald) of Moncton and Doris Smith (Gary) of Coal Branch; her six grandchildren, Terry, Tracy, Bruce, Emily, Stephanie and Sophie; her two great-grandchildren, Madison and Kayla; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Steeves (1992); her brother, Ronald and her baby brother, Francis.

As per Gloria’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Graveside service will be held at a later date.
