Obituary for Lawrence “Larry” Wilson

The passing of Lawrence “Larry” Arthur Wilson of Fredericton, NB, husband of Maryanne (Brewer) Wilson occurred on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 15, 1949 in North Tay, NB, he was the son of the late Healey and Margaret (McWaid) Wilson. Larry started as a woodsworker and then worked as a plumber and pipe fitter with various companies in New Brunswick and Alberta.

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his children, Vern Wilson, Melissa Wilson, Andy Wilson (Jennifer), Chris Warren (Michelle) and Benjamin Warren; grandchildren, Jack, Wyatt and Paxton; sisters, Katherine Gaudett (Danny), Carolyn Norcott, Joan Wilson, Pat Hayes (Paul Marler), Sharon Kelly (Brent), Mary Green (Gary) and Norah Wilson (Ian); brothers, Irvine Wilson (Donna) and Jim Wilson (Nellie); several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Deborah (Davis) Wilson and brother, John “Ted” Wilson.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm at the residence of Jim and Nellie Wilson, 2749 Route 620, Royal Road, NB.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
