Obituary for Benoit DesRoches

(1964 – 2019)
Collette – It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Benoit DesRoches, aged 55, following an accidental death on Friday, September 13th, 2019. Residing in Collette, he was the son of the late Emile DesRoches and Lorraine (Savoie) DesRoches.

Besides his mother, he leaves to mourn his wife and best friend Cathy, his daughters: Marie-Josée (Jael) and Julianne, both of Moncton; five sisters: Ginette (Donald) of Cocagne, Monique (Donald) of Collette, Roseline (Tim) of Lincoln, Georgette (Daniel) of Kanata, Ont. and Jeannine (Louis) of Moncton; one brother, Jean-Yves (Karen) of Windsor, NS; his father and mother-in-law: Edmond and Gladys Caissie; his sisters-in-law: Janice (André) and Pauline (Kenneth) as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and his many friends.

Benoit was a big-hearted man who willingly helped all who needed it.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at salon ‘La Colombe’, 11325, hwy 126, Rogersville, on Wednesday, September 18th, at 7pm. The funerals will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Collette on Thursday September 19th, at 3pm. Visitations hours: Wednesday September 18th from 7pm to 9pm, and on Thursday, September 19th from 1:30pm until the departure for the funeral.

A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville for the Palliative care services, would be appreciated.
