Obituary for Frederick Ruseff

We are saddened to announce the passing of Frederick Ruseff (Fred, Freddie) at University Hospital London, Ont on September 12, 2019 at the age of 81, after a lengthy illness.

Fred was the youngest child of George and Georgina (Bennet) Ruseff. Beloved husband of Irene (Holden) for 60 years. Loving father of Neal, loving father–in–law of Sarah (Hill). Much loved Grampy of Liam and Alex.

Raised in Saint John, N.B., Fred moved to Ontario many years ago, he worked as a Dispatcher for Roadway Transport until retirement. Fred loved fishing, woodworking, playing his accordion and being with his family.

Fred is survived by sisters Greta Ross and Kathleen Merwin, Ont. Also surviving nieces, nephews, cousins. Ron and Alice Gould with whom he was close. Fred was loved and respected by his many in–laws as well.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers George Jr., Gerald, Guy, Ronald, Donald, John and sister Gloria Williams.

A cremation has taken place at Arbor Memorial, London, Ont. A memorial will be held at Victory Canadian Legion in London, Ont on October 27.
