Obituary for Rita Couture

1925 -2019
Bathurst- Rita Couture, wife of the late Clarence Couture passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, at the age of 94.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred “Fred” and Dora (Doucet) Doucet.
She is survived by one daughter:
Jeannette (Neil) of Ottawa, Ontario.
7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Two sisters: Marcelle Zampolin (Wally) of Toronto, Ontario and Jenita Audet of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by two sons: Gerald and Robert, a daughter, Jeannine and many brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St. In memory of Rita, donations maybe made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
