Obituary for Donald Livingstone

1932 - 2019
Donald “Skip” Duncan Livingstone, of Riverview, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on September 26, 2019. Born in Moncton on July 6, 1932, he was the son of the late Frederick and Christina (Jonah) Livingstone of Gunningsville.

Skip had a love for nature, including fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed the Riverview community, and his many friends and family will remember him as a huge hockey fan. He was employed as a mason for 35 years, was a long-time member of the St. Paul’s United Church and also was with the Masonic Lodge Coverdale #52.

Skip is survived by his wife Necia (Lyons), daughter Joan Doyle (Kevin) of Bedford, NS, and sister Linda Robinson (Gregory) of Halifax, NS and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Lillian Steeves, Imelda Eaglin, Hazel Shaw and brother Robert Livingstone.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007). Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:00am at the St. Paul’s United Church, 404 Cleveland Ave, Riverview with Rev. Steve Berubé officiating. Burial to take place following the service in the Fair Haven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church or The Friends of The Moncton Hospital in Skip’s memory. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
