Obituary for Geraldine Godin

1925 – 2019
Bathurst – Mrs. Geraldine Godin, 93, wife of the late Gérard Godin, formerly of Chaleur St., Bathurst, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Odile (Couture) Legacy.

She is survived by two sons: Ronald Godin (late Bonnie) of Big River and Albanie Godin (Sandra) of Bathurst. One daughter: Linda Chapman (Jacques Rousseau) of Petit-Rocher. Five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Three brothers: Lincoln Legacy (Arnolda) of Beresford, Albanie Legacy (Bella) of Riverview, Roger Legacy (Rejeanne) of New Richmond, QC. One sister, Blanche Doucet (Maurice) of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.
