Born May, 17, 1929 in St. Louis de Kent to Augustin and Obeline (Daigle) Maillet. He was one of 11 children. His family moved to Saint John when he was 14 years old. He was a long-time resident of lower West.

He started his working career at the Winter Port then worked for Moosehead Breweries until his retirement at “57”. After retirement he kept busy with his home repairs, worked with his brother Alecon, apartment painting and helped his son with his home repairs.

In 1956 he married Marguerite Delaney. In 1957 Kevin Michael was born. They spent time with his brother’s families at Saints Rest and Acamac. Also several trips to Portland, Maine to visit Marg’s Aunt Sister Emily Burns. After Marg’s death in 2009, Larry sold their family home and moved to Carleton Kirk Apartments, then Chateau Champlain (had wonderful care from Joan’s Home care) and to Shannex (had some exceptional care givers) in April this year.

He is survived by his son Kevin Maillet, daughter in law Sue Ross-Maillet, four brothers; Alecon, Cageton (Theresa), Leonce (Linda) and Lorenzo and many nieces and nephews.
