Obituary for Muriel Moore

The family of Muriel Moore of Fredericton are saddened to announce her passing on October 3, 2019. Muriel was born on March 28, 1930 to parents Hazen Pomeroy and Katherine (nee Gilman).

Muriel is predeceased by brothers, Douglas, Donald, Maurice, Bob and his twin baby Herbert and sister Nancy Caldwell. Muriel is survived by one sister and dear friend Jessie Caldwell.

Muriel will be dearly missed by her husband of 70 years Howard Moore and her children, Elaine Tucker, Edison (Marcia), Kate and Melody Oviatt (Rob). She was dearly loved by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Muriel loved caring for her family, quilting, crosswords, square dancing, watching her songbirds, and summers at the camp.

Funeral Service for close friends and all family will be held at Bishops Funeral Home on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 1pm.

Donations in Muriel’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made at www.bishopsfuneralhome.com.
